Privacy Policy — City Relay (flix-bus.live)

Effective date: October 7, 2026.

This page explains how City Relay, publishing at flix-bus.live, handles information in connection with this simple, static editorial website. City Relay is an independent urban mobility magazine. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the FlixBus company or any operator; FlixBus is a separate transportation operator with its own terms and privacy practices.

What this site is and what it is not

This website is a static, content-driven publication. It has no account registration, profiles, payments, newsletters, user-submitted posts, or onsite forms. There is no server-side data collection connected to visitor behaviour for analytics or tracking operated by City Relay on this site.

No analytics, cookies, accounts or tracking by City Relay

We do not deploy third-party analytics packages, tracking pixels, tag managers, or advertising networks from the site itself. This means:

  • There are no cookies set by City Relay for analytics, preferences, login or advertising purposes.
  • We do not build visitor profiles or retain browsing histories from this site.
  • There is no registration system or member area collecting personal details on our servers.

Ordinary browser and network activity

When you visit flix-bus.live your browser requests the HTML, images and other files required to display pages. Those requests travel over the public internet and may be logged briefly by hosting or transit providers for operational reasons outside our control. Such routine network or server logs are not used to create user profiles by City Relay; however, they may exist at hosting or infrastructure providers under those providers' own policies.

Voluntary email contact

If you choose to contact us by sending email to [email protected], that transmission is handled through your chosen email service and the recipient mail service. Email sent to that address is not submitted through a site form; it is delivered by standard email protocols and stored in the mailboxes used to receive correspondence. City Relay retains only the information necessary to reply or to correct a published item when required. We do not promise specific retention periods, automated deletion schedules, or use of particular archival systems for incoming messages. If you have a request about email correspondence, see "Your rights and requests" below.

Links and third-party content

This site contains links to other websites, including official operator pages, image hosts and external sources. Clicking a link may take you to a third-party site that has its own terms, privacy policy and data practices. City Relay does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices or content. You should review the privacy notice on any external site you visit.

Images and embedded resources

Images and media included on our pages may be hosted by third parties. When your browser fetches an externally hosted image, the host may receive information about your request under their terms. We try to host content on servers that respect privacy, but cannot guarantee the practices of image hosts or content delivery networks that we do not operate.

Children

This site is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If a parent or guardian believes that we have received personal data about a child through an email or other unintentional channel, contact us at contact.html to request deletion or correction.

Your rights and requests

If you want to ask about personal data that City Relay may hold in relation to direct email correspondence or to request correction or deletion of such material, please contact us. Reasonable requests to inspect, correct or remove personal data contained in our editorial or correspondence records will be considered and handled in good faith. We do not provide an automated portal for rights management; requests should be made through the contacts below.

Security and limits

We strive to protect information associated with direct communication, but no system is perfect. Because this is a static site without user accounts, risks associated with broad collection are inherently limited. That said, transmissions over the internet (including email) can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee absolute security for communications sent to or from this site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. Substantive changes will be reflected by a revised effective date at the top of this policy. Please consult this page periodically for the current statement of our practices.

How to contact us

Questions about privacy, requests to inspect/correct data received by email, or concerns about linked content should be directed via our contact page at contact.html. For general site terms and usage, see our terms of use.

Short summary

City Relay operates a static editorial site with no tracking, cookies, user accounts, or onsite forms. Voluntary email to [email protected] is handled by email systems. External links lead to third parties with separate policies. Effective date: October 7, 2026.

Note: This policy is informational and not legal advice. Specific operational matters for transportation operators (routes, schedules, luggage rules, fares or similar) are governed by those operators and their published policies; verify directly with the relevant official operator before travelling.

What this site actually does

This is a static informational publication. It does not provide accounts, ticket booking, a checkout, payment processing, reservations, a support portal, a newsletter sign-up, analytics, behavioural advertising or a server-side contact form. The editorial email link and contact helper open the reader’s own email application; this site does not receive, transmit to its server or store the draft.

Pages load third-party assets: Tailwind CSS and web fonts from their named providers, and editorial photographs delivered by a media CDN. A request for those resources can disclose ordinary network information (such as IP address, requested asset, browser details, approximate time and referrer as configured by the browser) to the respective provider. Those services set their own policies; the site operator does not control their processing. Clicking an external official-operator link likewise leaves this site and is subject to the external provider’s terms and privacy policy.

The pages contain no site-operated analytics, advertising tags, visitor account or persistent preference storage, and they do not intentionally set cookies. A browser, CDN or third party may still have its own technical logs or cookie behaviour. If the publication’s technical setup changes, this explanation must be revised to match the new implementation.
